Bio: Once upon a time Prince was merely part of a much longer title attached to an even longer name. What began as an affectionate if slightly tongue-in-cheek nickname from his brood is now the only moniker that anyone seems to know him by. A part of one of the older broods still living, and one of the few of his still left, he's a highly experienced member of the Nest, and has a position as a teacher, Guardian, and protector of new hosts.

That's now. Then he was a son of a man who ruled, born to class and responsibility and raised to expect obedience and demand respect. Everything changed for him when he was brought into the Nest. Unlike some he settled badly. Not worse than anyone, but his strong sense of self, personal responsibility, and rank left him unwilling to fold himself into the hive mind completely. Only keen obligation kept him from drawing further away from the new-found power of the symbiote. While he never embraced the creature or his new being entirely, he viewed it as a weapon. A valuable, worthwhile, and exceedingly dangerous one. One which he has wielded.

His life since then has been a precarious balancing act. Denying himself the pleasures and comforts of the Nest but always being close enough to know they are right there waiting for him. It would be easy to say that self flagellating behavior is what lead him to become such a sullen person, but the truth is he has always been a petulant, stubborn, contrary man, his nature only somewhat disguised by how quiet he typically is. The only thing that has changed is his expectation for the future.

Prince has a surprisingly quiet mind, but even so, searching can get you somewhere. He tends to be less patient than he appears on the outside, because although he attempts not to sigh out loud there are quiet a few internal sighs. His thoughts are just careful and organized as his actions. He has a strong aversion to unnecessarily tapping into the Nest connection, and violating his space- mental or physical- tends to result in a distaste beyond his usual cold low-level disapproval. The easiest emotion to read in him that is not obvious on the outside is concern- he takes his responsibility to keep the young Hosts under his protection safe very seriously.

MENTAL LINK
There is a sense of stability, focus, and calm to his mind, the smell of well-oiled leather and the texture of well-worn wood, sun streaming through dense leaves and the weight of an empire on your shoulders.
